All good things must end, they say.
The memories and photographs of this, my first ever visit to the magical city of lights are now ‘out there’, shared with the world. I hope you have enjoyed them.
For many new visitors to the blog, this final page will be the first page they (you?) will see. That’s the way the archive system works – the latest posting is the default landing page for ‘new arrivals’. But the beauty of a blog is that you can all still take the time to enjoy every single posting here. If you’d rather read my Paris story from the beginning – here’s where to go (The Beginning). You may then follow the rest of my journey through the archives - or use the suggestions at the top of each page.
To those who sent me (and continue to do so) comments and encouragement, my sincere thanks. From the early days when even one page load a day was an achievement, today the records show the numbers are in the thousands.
And finally I must make two special mentions:
Laura K Lawless, the tireless author and teacher of all (linguistic) things French on About.com who agreed to place a blog link on her blogs page. This remains a great source of 'traffic' to the site.
And finally, to ‘Jennifer’, one of my early readers who has been along with me every step of the way since then. I always said that if only one person enjoyed the blog it would have been worth every second I put into it. Jenny – you were that person. May your Paris dreams come true.
Which only leaves the question: What next?
You’ll find the answer here.
